Single and Multiple-Channel RF transceivers

The Oceanscience Group offers a wide range of RF communications equipment. Whether you need communications for your Oceanscience Riverboat, Q-Boat, one of our buoy systems or you just need a reliable, rugged, portable communications system, we can provide a solution. Our transceivers are available with single or multiple data channels. Data may be multiplexed at the remote site, transmitted over the RF link, and de-multiplexed to multiple serial ports at the shore or base station. Alternatively, the data may be multiplexed at the remote site, linked directly to a PC and de-multiplexed by our software. The standard packaging for these is an aluminum IP67 case with IP68 connectors The following data telemetry systems are available on any of our products, or as stand- alone ruggedized transceivers.
Hydrolink SL
Long-range 2.4GHz or 900MHz license-free single-channel transceiver using Freewave technology. Rugged, proven, powerful transceivers in watertight aluminum cases with watertight connectors. Ranges to 20 miles with appropriate antennae. Save $500 per pair compared to comparable radios.	Hydrolink ML

Long-range 2.4GHz or 900MHz license-free multi-channel transceiver using Freewave technology. Rugged, proven 2, 3 or 4-channel transceivers in watertight aluminum cases with watertight connectors. Ranges to 20 miles with appropriate antennae.	Hydrolink ML
Hydrolink SD

Medium-range multi-channel transceiver housed in rugged watertight aluminum case with watertight connectors. Up to 4 data channels. 2.4GHz license-free. Ranges to 2km.
Hydrolink S/MIL
Long-range single- or multiple-channel transceivers with battery for remote data acquisition. The Hydrolink S/MIL are rated at IP68, comes with an alkaline battery pack. They’re mounted in a handy tubular case with data connector on the base and an antenna connector on the top. With an integral 3-db antenna, the system is easy to mount on virtually any structure using stainless clamps. It can also be fitted with high-gain omni or sector antennae for longer range.
Environmental Cases
We also offer an integrated long-range transceiver/battery for remote data acquisition. The Hydrolink MIL is rated at IP68, comes with an alkaline battery pack. It’s mounted in a handy 3” tube with data connector on the base and an antenna connector on the top. With an integral 3-db antenna, the system is easy to mount on virtually any structure using stainless clamps. It can also be fitted with high-gain omni or sector antennae for longer range.
